Tear Down The Sky The Firebird has one goal – to be the fastest. The fastest Enduro bike for our team riders, the fastest park bike, the fastest way to rail a top-to-bottom mega-descent – no matter whether that descent is in Moab or Morzine. Every aspect of our long travel 29er is tailored toward the pursuit of unbridled velocity, from its progressive, size-specific geometry to the tuned perfection of its dw-Link suspension. Whether you're chasing EWS podium glory or harboring a burning desire to tear down the sky in a supersonic plume of dust, the Firebird is your ticket to pure speed. The DNA of Velocity Modern geometry tailored for aggressive riding lets the Firebird rail at warp speed with battleship stability and laser precision. A relaxed head angle, long reach, and generous wheelbase are the key ingredients of high-speed composure. Balance and responsiveness are brought into the mix via size-specific chainstays and seat tube angles, ensuring that the Firebird remains nimble and responsive at all times, in all conditions. 165mm of ultra-capable dw-link suspension soaks up everything from jumbled moonscapes to massive G-outs and still snaps to attention and climbs with more authority than bikes offering inches less travel. Fast up, fast down. Fast. Not As Sweet As It Looks "Sweet bike, man." It's the ultimate lift-line compliment. In the case of the Firebird, that sweetness is only skin deep. Appearances can be deceptive. When you're coming in way too hot on the wrong side of the safe line, you want a partner with lightning reflexes and the dispassionate calm of a cold blooded killer. The Firebird's Hollow Core carbon construction cleanly disguises its psychotic side with a taut, sturdy, deceptively lightweight frame that calmly gets you out of the most gripped situations, in much the same way that James Bond can get his hands really dirty while keeping his suit perfectly clean. Super-capable suspension, planted handling, perfectly selected components, shaken, not stirred; the cocktail mix for blazing speed. Drink up! Pivot's full carbon frame feature size-specific ride tuning, leading edge carbon fiber materials and Pivot's proprietary hollow core molding technology to ensure that every rider from 5'2" to 6'9" has a bike that feels perfect and performs at the optimum level for their size. - Long-and-low geometry for a confident, and size-specific chainstay lengths refine the EWS Podium performance for different sized riders. - Phoenix DH-inspired longer dw-link maximizes the Firebird's rearward wheel-path for erasing square edge bumps and maximizing control. - 165mm of supple-yet-efficient dw-link suspension travel featuring a vertically mounted trunnion metric coil-over or air shocks combined with 170mm front travel for unrivaled suspension performance. - Equipped with a 44mm offset 170mm-travel Fox Factory and Performance Series 38 FIT Grip2 forks. - Ultra-adjustable Fox Float X2, Float X, Live Valve, and DHX2 coil rear shock options. - Custom tuned Fox Live Valve builds allow for layers of tuning to allow for a plusher than plush feel unmatched by any other suspension setup. - Adjustable geometry with a flip chip upper link mount. - Compatible with both 29" and 27.5" wheel sizes without compromise thanks to the adjustable geometry for 29" 27.5" or MX wheel setups. - Fits tires up to 29x2.6" or 27.5x2.8" wide. - 12 x 157mm Super Boost Plus rear spacing adds stiffness and control. - 31.6mm size seatpost match with the Firebird's short seat tube with deep insertions for longer travel posts. - Featuring the easy to find UDH rear derailleur hanger for peace of mind when traveling the world. - 1.5" headtube provides increased front-end stiffness and tracking. - Hassle-free, full-length, internal cable routing. - All sizes fit a water bottle inside the front triangle. - Pivot Tool Dock system compatible with mounts under the top tube and integrated into the underside of the frame.

The Phoenix 29 rises from the success of its predecessor to be the next evolution in downhill speed and performance. Working alongside the Factory Race Team, our engineers started with a blank sheet of paper in order to build the downhill rig of their dreams. Everything needed to change – chassis, geometry, suspension design, and of course, wheel size. The team wanted an ultra-fast, low slung speed machine that's ready to blaze down the gnarliest of World Cup tracks. It also needed to be capable of sending it big on countless bike park laps. Well, we have good news – you don't have to dream. The Phoenix 29 is real. And it's really fast. Speed Team From the wide-open ski slopes of Les Gets to the treacherously steep roots and rocks of Val di Sole, the Phoenix 29 let our Factory Race Team push their personal limits like nothing else. That's because from day one our race team was highly involved with the Phoenix 29 design. Working closely with our engineering team, the racers provide direct feedback after testing prototypes in the best way possible: World Cup racing. Initial goals of keeping the ride feel as similar to the 27.5 version they loved so much were quickly superseded with advancing a bike that is even better. The Phoenix 29 is quite simply the fastest, most capable World Cup DH bike on the planet. All the Right Moves Without a doubt, 29er wheels roll faster, smooth out rough courses and carry a ridiculous amount of momentum. They offer improved tracking and braking in turns too. Short 17" (44.3mm) chainstays add 'playful', 'flickable' and 'manuals for days' to its repertoire. This makes it incredibly fun in a bike park, and extremely quick in tight, technical wooded sections. Whether it's your job to win races at the highest level or you want to session the bike park with friends, the Phoenix 29 is insanely fun and always fast. - Lightweight yet incredibly strong full carbon frame featuring leading-edge carbon fiber materials and Pivot's proprietary molding technology - 190mm of supple yet efficient dw-link suspension - Air and coil shock compatible – comes standard with ultra-adjustable Fox Factory Float X2 shock - 203mm travel Fox Factory Series 40 or Performance Elite 40 fork - 29-inch wheels for increased momentum, larger tire contact patch, and increased stability - Super Boost Plus for increased 29" wheel stiffness, strength, and durability paired with the lowest Q factor on a DH bike - Integrated fork stops with built-in cable ports - Available in sizes S, M, L, XL for riders between 5'4" and 6'7" - Complete bike and frame-only options - Frame weight starting at 2900g/6.40 lbs, complete bike weight of 31lbs possible

The perfect Goldilocks bike between the Process 134 and Process X, the Process 153 hits all the sweet spots at a very budget-friendly price. The 160/153mm front and rear suspension gives you unwavering reliability on tricky descents while still climbing with ease. It's spec'd with everything you need and nothing you don't. Strong brakes, dependable suspension and grippy tires equal the perfect all-around package. KONA 6061 ALUMINUM Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x148mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. For 2017, you'll see the 12x148 Boost standard in the mix. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle. BEAMER INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION Built to be off-the-top progressive, Beamer Independent Suspension helps the bike to stay higher in the travel and recover from hits more quickly. The Operators are instilled with what our product managers like to call "pure shock movement," whereby the shock is protected from side load. Designed to be highly tuneable and extremely durable, the Beamer IS is our version of greased lightning.
